Marija Bistrica - Traditional Handcraft Products Identity
Marija Bistrica is a home to numerous autochthonous products including some on the UNESCO list such as the handmade wooden toys, gingerbread hearts, pottery and more. However, many of the local traditional handcrafts face a few problems today. A huge competition with the plastic products. The insufficient support from the local Tourist Board. A poor visibility on the marketplace, and more. The goal behind this project is to raise the awareness of the current position of our traditional handcrafts and customs and how to improve their visibility as the autochthonous products in cultural tourism. New identity includes packaging redesign, advertising and web proposal. This is a student project by Josipa Petrov at the School of Design, Zagreb.
