International Charter Expo is the world's biggest and the only B2B event in the yacht charter industry whose goal is to keep the yachting industry connected. As the new challenges arise due to global pandemic we helped create the first digital event experience in this industry.

Charter industry was looking for solutions to the new challenges caused by the global pandemic in 2020. After its first successful event in Vienna 2019 the International Charter Expo became the first charter expo that was not cancelled but create a virtual one for its guests. Our challenge was to adapt quickly to the new circumstances and help create the digital experience.

We wanted to provide our guests the familiar visual impression and experience they had attending the physical events. Thus in partnership with VII Events we created a virtual space that resembles the Viennese Marx Halle. It included the main three trade booths, the option for each user to upload their corporate PDF brochures and videos, one or more representatives, the meeting rooms for video conversations, and the virtual conference hall for the live presentations.

The first successful virtual event gathered around 300 participants from more than 110 exhibitors in 7 virtual halls. In 3 days, ICE participants made more than 3,800 meetings.
94% said ICE’20 was efficient for their business, 82% would participate at the second digital event, and 91% were satisfied with the price/value ratio.
