Memory card game design that promotes local traditional dishes and recipes of Varžadin County

The Memory Card game design project builds upon the success of the previous coloring book that celebrated the traditional flavors and dishes of Varaždin County in Croatia. This educational and entertaining game features 17 pairs of beautifully illustrated cards, each depicting a different traditional recipe from the region. The game is thoughtfully packaged with a box containing guidelines on how to play, along with an informational leaflet providing detailed descriptions of each recipe illustrated on the cards.

Developed in partnership with Varaždin County, the project aimed to promote cultural heritage through interactive learning. The first testers of the game were schools and kindergartens in Northern Croatia, where it was met with enthusiasm. By engaging children and young learners, the Memory Card game fosters a deeper appreciation of local cuisine and traditions, making it both a fun and educational tool for preserving regional heritage.
