New booth design for Wind Charter Brazil at “Boot Düsseldorf” 2024
Olá! If you visited “Boot Düsseldorf”, a major international boat show, you might have encountered a booth tempting you to book a flight to Brazil.
We assisted a sailing team from Wind Charter Brazil in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, modernizing their booth visuals to convey their brand essence, sailing offerings, and the allure of Paraty. Since the boat show welcomed both trade visitors and the public, we created visuals appealing to both groups in a tourist-friendly manner.
Our tasks included generating ideas aligned with goals and provided materials, crafting compelling messages, creating a 3D booth visualization, and ultimately delivering print-ready PDFs for the client.
The starting point - old booth
Despite having essential information on the booth our client wasn’t satisfied with how it represented their brand especially the lack of touristic appeal and the liveliness of the sailing area.
Layout for the “Boot Düsseldorf”
After communicating the project goals and objectives we got our hands on the booth layout for the “Boot Düsseldorf” with parameters of what is a must, what is optional, and what shouldn’t be communicated through new design.
Preparing the 2D design layout and 3D visualisation
Upon several ideas and sketches we decided that the following design would fit our project’s objectives. Here we used the colours and fonts from the brand style guide with some innovations to upgrade the whole visual experience to the new level.
The design is then presented as a flat layout in a chronological order. The human silhouette of helps us get a better impression of how big the visuals, especially the text, is going to be when printed. Lastly, we create a 3D render to see what it looks like in space.
And final result
After couple of revisions and final approval it’s time to prepare the files for print. After careful prepress process which involves outlining the typography, checking the bleed area, and making sure the images are in CMYK the files were delivered to the printer company. Now it is time to enjoy the booth design on spot.
